6th July – 28th September. We are taking names now.

To say thank you we will provide you with a share of our harvest in your own veg box each week. It will contain: tomatoes, salad leaves, radishes, spring onions, rainbow carrots. Depending on the week there will also be beans, beetroot, kale or chard, and courgettes.

These are varieties chosen for taste, many not available in the supermarkets. To join the supports club, contact Lausanne on 07816 141169 or email lausannet@yahoo.co.uk www.constableallotment.org.uk

In our photos you can see our regular volunteers enjoying the late September sun planting out winter vegetables! You can join us too, we are open every Friday and Saturday from 11 am (other sessions by arrangement). There is always plenty to do in terms of the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the site. This autumn we will be constructing the walls of the roundhouse and completing the roof. We are planning to run a few more events on the allotment in 2018 and details will be posted on this page. We also hope to start creating a forest garden very soon.
We welcome new volunteers, and visitors who just want to look round the site. Hot drinks are available and the polytunnels provide shelter from showers! More info from Lausanne 07816 141169

Students will also be shown to make a basic wormery. There will be a day of practical sessions on a nearby allotment to demonstrate how to make a basic compost heap and also to see other techniques in practice. ...
